If I Never Sing Another Song - DONNA LYNTON (LP Donna Lynton, 1986)

Donna Lynton was born Dianne Carol Lynton in Brooklyn, New York on January 1, 1951. 

Her version of "If I Never Sing Another Song", was a cover of the 1968 German song "Illusionen" (# 38 in Germany), interpreted originally by the late German Schlager Star Alexandra and written by Austrian Super Star singer / songwriter, Udo Jürgens. 

The Donna Lynton version is based on the English cover of the song, originally released by Shirley Bassey (LP Love, Life & Feelings, 1976)

On September 2016, Dim Zach, a Hellenic DJ based in Thessaloniki published a very popular mix of the song on Youtube.

He was the most notable figure in Thessaloniki's Pirate Radio, during the 80s.

I consider him to be the most important & influencial radio personality in the history of Thessaloniki's radio ever.
